Hi guys.

As I'm getting more into website development I am looking for some good image packages for sale or for free and was hoping that you guys can make some good suggestions on which ones are good to use?

I'm looking for everything from buttons to people, etc.

I know google returns hits but I was wondering if you guys have any experience using any of these companies?

Thanks.

Personally, I like istockphoto and getty images. They have a large library of all kinds of stock photos and icons, free and low cost image options too.

Hello,

Take a look at :

http://www.axialis.com

or the following link pointing to their icon library :

http://www.axialis.com/stock-icons/

When you are a registred user of their IconWorkshop application you can buy their icons on 50% of the price. A real bargain for such beautiful icons. Those icons are very attractive and for almost every purpose, you find usefull icons.

Before switching to Axialis, I also used a lot of free icons. However in my opinion, they made my applications look very inconsistent.

The only remark in the past I had with their icon sets is that they are only supporting sizes until 48x48. But they seemed to take the request of bigger sizes into account and are now including a 64x64 size, which makes their collection better suitable for mobile devices.

There are including 3 versions with every collection, normal, bright and disabled.

Wish you a very nice day.

Hi again,

For web buttons you also should take a look at Agama Webbuttons application. Very powerfull with a lot of standard buttons which you can change to meet your own needs. Even creating your own buttons from scratch is possible.

You can use them in your RealStudio applications too. However an animated gif does not seem to work in RealStudio (do not know why).

Hope you will find what you are looking for.
