Is there any reason, like copyright or whatever, that Real Software couldn't make the libraries needed for REALBasic-Linux available on their web site?

If it were a separate download, no extra bandwidth would be used by those not needing it.

Does this sound like a good feature request to anyone?

Hi Don,

That does sound like an excellent idea, although they would really have to stay on top of all the packages for each major distro.

I still haven't found the 'right' package that allows HTMLViewer and the Language Reference to display scrollbars... :(

Do they need to use packages for each distro?

I've had people send me just the libraries for some specific programs, and I just dropped them in /usr/lib/. I may have had to make links, I don't remember. Anyway, no one offered any objections, so I think I will put in a feature request. RS can always ignore it if it isn't practical.
