Using RB2012 in Win XP, building for Linux and testing in Ubuntu 12.10 -
No problem with colors invoked by g.DrawRect or by g.Pixel() but when using g.DrawPicture in Canvas.Paint when the picture had been built via an RGBsurface results in colors so pale that they can hardly be seen.

Is there a known incompatibility? I see no reason for this in the language ref.
THIS becomes THIS

But if I save the picture and then view it, it is normal.

Do you have an alpha channel issue, I wonder?

This occurred to me last night but I don't see why it should be related only to RGBsurf on Linux - not on Windows or Mac, or Linux with other colour generation on the Canvas. I am using only '&c000000' i.e. 6 digit, which As I understand it should not invoke the alpha channel.

However, I will experiment around this possibility. Further advice still welcome.
