Okay I have a custom MessageDialog box, works great! Problem I am encountering (actually for any MsgBox) is placement of the MessageDialog. I have dual monitors and the default placement of the MessageDialog is dead center of the two monitors, I want it to appear on the left screen.

I have already figured out how to place the forms (you guys call them Window) where I want them by using the code below,

Me.Left = (Screen(0).AvailableWidth - Me.Width) * .065
Me.Top = (Screen(0).AvailableHeight - Me.Height) * .35

but I can't for the life of me figure out how to place the MessageDialog or MsgBox where I want them. Is this even possible?

When you say "custom messagedialog", what do you mean? A subclass of MessageDialog? A window that acts like a MessageDialog?

MessageDialog is a convenience mechanism that allows you to skip creating your own window. If you want more control, create a modal window that acts like a MessageDialog. It's more work, but you get what you want.

Hmmm, okay I thought that was how I was going to have to solve the issue. I was in fact referring to the MessageDialog sub-class.

Thanks again Tim!

Well, dunno about the left screen, but you can get the dialog to show up from the calling window, wherever it is, by using .showmodalwithin self instead of .showmodal
