Do you have all the other required libraries installed (like GTK2, CUPS, etc)? If you try to launch the application from the command line, does it spit out any errors?

Is realbasic compatible with a Linux distribution for AMD64 (I use Ubuntu for AMD64)?

Ubuntu uses libstdc++6 instead of libstdc++5. To install the older version, make sure that in your /etc/apt/sources.list the universe and multiverse lines are NOT commended.

To install the missing lib open a console and login as root (type "sudo su" and enter your user password), then type

apt-get install libstdc++5

because cups is installed in ubuntu by default, this is all you need to get RB applications running.
