I'm not certain what the issue could be -- whenever I need to execute the remote debugger, I just un-tarzip it to the desktop and double-click. I'd (1) Make sure your download wasn't corrupt, (2) Make sure the permissions are set to execute.

Yes, i've done as you said (redownload and set the permission as execute), when double click 'seems' to execute but nothing happens.

Then try running the remote debugger via the command line (open up a terminal window, navigate to the remote debugger stub, and execute it by typing ./Remote\ Debugger\ Stub). My guess is that you're missing some libraries and no REALbasic applications will run for you -- the command line should give you a hint as to which libraries are missing.

./Whatever

Where Whatever is the name of the application you want to execute (it'll autocomplete with tab, just like REALbasic does).

sounds to me like a permssions issue, try right clicking on the file properties and setting its permissions to execute, cant remember exactly how its done in konquerer, but itll be there
