I've just started using RealBasic on Linux and I've found when writing to a graphics object using drawLine or drawRect the penWidth and penHeight values seem to be ignored. The line always ends up being 1 pixel thick. However, under windows the same code will set the thickness and draw the line.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour? What can I do to fix it?

eg

Canvas Paint (g as Graphics)

g.penWidth = 10
g.penHeight = 10
g.drawLine(0,0,100,100)

Running Fedora Core 4 all patched up with the latest updates.

You should file a bug report to make sure that we're aware of it.. but looking at the code, it looks like this was fixed at the end of November, so I'm guessing that the problem will be resolved for r5. It looks like there's no support in GTK for the concept, so we had to work our own solution out.

I had a quick look around but I cannot find the bug reporting system. Any links?

I reported this a week or two ago and it is already marked as fixed for the next release.
