1. I have a project created with RB2005R4 Windows
2. I run RB2005R4 Linux under Mandrake Linux
3. I develop, compile as usual
4. The IDE crashes and deletes the RB file.

I use the Einhugur plugins in the project.

Do you encounter the same problem?

I've never heard of that happening. The only time we delete a file is when auto-saving a temp file out or do a swap files when saving. Very strange!

Aaron and yobesnar,

Just as an FYI, I have also seen this happen one time on my Knoppix 3.9 (Debian) partition (have since upgraded to Knoppix 4.0). It happened a while back, though, but I recall the IDE crashed and my project file disappeared. Wish I could give you more specifics, but I was hit by a transit bus back in 2003 and my memory has never been the same...
