I have a couple of great tools (Blue Intelligence's gate... !) and I have my app ready. The Windows version works great using the INNO Setup installer -- it grabs support files and user data files and properly sets them up as expected. OS X? Well, there apparently isn't any installer and I guess the way it has been explained to me is that the app must determine the support files don't exist and install them from the package.

Has anyone done this (does RealStudio have any services)? Help!

thank you,
Ken

You can use an installer with OS X, they are just not common. PackageMaker is included with Xcode. I generally prefer IceBerg when I need OS X installers.

To extract stuff from the bundle, just use Application.ExecutableFile and the navigate from that to the Resources folder. Once you have the FolderItem for the files, use CopyFile to copy it out to where you want it.

Yes, I'm at the conference and was just talking with Ingo this morning. I'll let him know!
