Hello all!
In one of my app, the user import a pdf using coregraphics, put some text above it, then print the pdf with the text above. I do all this in the following way:
- select an existing pdf
- create a second pdf containing only the text to print above the first one
- create a pdf with the composition of the two
- print

So my customer has a problem: the background pdf is print as rgb colors and not in cmyk. Is there a way to resolve this?

Many thanks!

CoreGraphics does not support every PDF feature.
You may better go with our DynaPDF Plugin.

Greetings
Christian

Thanks Christian.
Will I be able to manage CYMK pdfs with your plugins?

Yes. DynaPDF supports RGB, CMYK, Grayscale and all the other things like process colors.

Greetings
Christian

Core Graphics does support CMYK images, maybe if you convert the image to CMYK first then it will be in CMYK form when the PDF is created. I've not tried this.
