Really pleased with our latest product "Shine" , it's made in Real Studio and it's a Retina ready cocoa application (completely Sandboxed).

If you have any questions then please feel free to ask me.

Sorry, but for me an useless information, because this "example" is NOT SOURCE CODE, its an buyable / trial compiled App?!

Only if you would give access at least to source code sniplets (parts of RB source code of that app ) yor posting would made sense.
Otherwise i would say your "example" is only an add here - sorry but true in my opinion.

No need to apologize - you are entitled to your opinion. My intention (and pride) was to allow other RS users to see what I have done, and if anyone wanted to know how to accomplish something they could ask.

However given that the only response is someone who's complaining that I did this, I shall refrain from doing this in the future.

Sam has a good reputation here and I do not consider his post to be spam. It's good to know about solid, polished apps written in Real Studio, especially when clients are unsure about Real Studio and whether or not it can produce "native" apps like Xcode.

Sam - so much of my work over the past few years has been on internal business and server apps that I'm honestly rusty when it comes to really polishing and preparing an app for end users. I'm dusting off an old, neglected app of my own (TextSpresso) and simultaneously beginning work with a client on a suite of end user apps. I will check out App Wrapper soon, and may send some questions your way in the near future.

Congratulations on Shine. Playing with it right now, and it looks good.

Not sure what all the fuss was about. The post describes an example of an RB application which is ready-made, uses Retina, and looks very nice. More than half the time there are people complaining how there are not many commercial applications using RB; even more complains about very few if any showing Retina capability. And here comes a perfect example of such an application and the author gets flagged for it - no good deed goes unpunished.

Sam, the application looks brilliant.

Tough crow to please...

I like what you did, you created an app that is retina ready and sandboxed and posted about it as an example of what can be accomplished. Now this guy gives you a hard time because you didn't posted code examples even though you say in your post that you can be contacted with any questions.

Great looking app!

Thanks David, pleased to hear you like Shine.

Absolutely any questions, feel free to send them my way and I'd be happy to answer them as best as I can.

Thanks for the compliment. I think I'm starting to get the hang of Retina :)
