I put a quite a bit of work into this and think it turned out quite nicely.
It is 100% RealStudio code with no external images, all in a single Control Class

demo program : http://www.rdsisemore.com/picker_demo.app.zip

this is compiled for OSX... but the code should work in Win as well.

If anyone is interested.. let me know.... but due to the work I put into I'd like a donation of $5?

You state the code should work in Windows, has this been tested
under Windows 7 or 8?

Thanks

it has not....
but I can compile a test ... it will only run for 5 min as that is a limitation of my version of RS....

http://www.rdsisemore.com/picker_demo_windows.zip

Compiled... BUT NOT TESTED ... as I don't have a Win7/8 machine at my disposal

Downloaded the file, when I run it on Windows 8 I get an error.

An exception of class PlatformNotSupportedException was not handled. The
Application must shutdown.

Windows also complained the file could be dangerous and not
to download.

Using the latest version of RB for Windows.

might be the fact I'm using transparent colors to draw the shadows.....
but since I cannot test it under Win my self.... I cannot diagnoise the issue.. sorry

Note : as this is a demo project... it is not code-signed etc... so just ignore any GateKeeper messages.

If you do want a copy of the source code : http://www.rdsisemore.com/ios_style_picker.htm

I think if you add this it will work.

In the Open event of the App class enables GDI+ on Windows.
App.UseGDIPlus = True

cool... post a pic or two of what it looks like under windows please?

remember the windows version I posted will only run for 5 min and expires in 10 days....
This is because I compiled it with an OSX version of RS that only supports a "trial compile" under Windows
