On OS 10.8.x you can search your Exchange Global Address List which is under the Directories Section. This is available after either adding your machine to the Active Directory Domain or by configuring the Apple Mail app to connect to your Exchange server.

Does anyone know how to do this via RealBasic? I can't get it to work via MBS Plugins or via Xcode. It only searches the content that is in the local AddressBook database.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks

There's an Applescript at http://www.office.mvps.org/exchange/exchangelookups.html that claims to do that. The page says Entourage but the script appears to be updated for Outlook. You can probably tailor that for your needs.

Thanks. I think I am going to use SOAP and /ews/exchange.asmx
When you add your Exchange Account to Mountain Lion the Contacts app uses /ews/exchange.asmx to perform the lookups. So I am in the process of wrapping around that.
