Is there a reason why these threads about this issue just die off without any resolution? I've read a bunch of posts here on this topic and the story is the same; Some poor schmuck spends a lot of time trying to get to the bottom of this display issue, gets stuck, then posts on the RS Forums. I few others pipe in, no response from Real, and it just dies.

I think it is ridiculous that this can't be fixed. How is RB "cross-platform", when it can't even correctly display a half dozen basic controls on one of its two main platforms it says it supports???

On Windows, on a Canvas control, Groupbox titles have a background the same as the main window. So do checkboxes and Radio buttons. Labels you can get the proper background with the Transparent property. The TabPanel as a light gray background in the final EXE. In the IDE it is transparent and looks correct.

I swear, RS is "this close" to being a great development environment. What a pity to get tripped up on little stuff like this. Sorry for the rant, but I can't ship a product with a UI looking like this. I know you can't get everything you want in any tool, but EVERY tool ought to be able to display the rudimentary controls properly on any platform it claims to support.
