Post subject:  Win 8 Start Icon :(

Hi,
I have clicked on my windows app's class, and then on the app icon properties on the right hand side of the IDE.
I have dragged in all of my different sized images and masks, and then built my exe.

All of the icons such as the actual .exe icon, the shortcut icon, the taskbar icon etc appear perfect, BUT, when I right click on my .exe and select "Pin to Start" - the icon which appears on the Win 8 start screen is a previous icon which I had for my exe !

I can't understand why all the other icons appear correctly EXCEPT the WIn 8 start Icon.

Can anyone shed some light on the issue?

It's driving me craaaaaaaazy :(

Thank you all in advance.

I have now noticed that when my .exe is shown in the Windows 8 file explorer AND when pinned to Metro START, an old icon still shows, BUT when the .exe is dragged to the desktop or my app is run and then shrunk to the task bar - the correct icon displays!

Somehow, an old / unused icon has been embedded into my .exe, and only shows in file explorer and Metro start.
Are both of those icons the same size - if so, there may be a problem with my app displaying a certain sized icon??

I have reset my Windows 8 icon cache.db, but the same problem exists!

Any ideas?
