I'm beginning to use the MonkeyBread plugin for WMI data gathering. I like it a lot - much easier to use than the MS WMI classes.
I'm curious to know if I'm the only one doing this, and hoping someone can provide an example of doing it remotely (collect system B data from system A).

Well, we worked on that long ago and added functions like InitAuthentication and InitSecurity to the WindowsWMIMBS.
So if you set things right, it could work.

Greetings

WMI is kind of a pain because it' not very well documented (in my opinion). We've done some work using the MBS plugins with it for various clients.

Christian -
A bit more documentation about InitAuthentication and InitSecurity would be helpful, and an example bit of code using them would be wonderful. Right now I don't have much to go on.
