Hi All,

I have a windows in the application where user can set the preference. In the preference window user can set the preference like Task Bar features like : ON/OFF.

When i make the Task bar OFF it will over lay the task bar because i will make it fullscreen = true. But problem is :

when i make it full screen it will also hide the Application bar of the windodws. My question is
Quote:
It should not affect the application bar/Title bar when i make it full screen.

Can you please tell me how to do that ?

Thanks,
Prakash

Instead of using the window.fullscreen property, get the screen coordinates from Screen(0) and position and size the window yourself.
Self.Left = Screen(0).Left
Self.Height = Screen(0).Height - ??

Etc.

Hi classone,

Sorry to say. Your's lines of logic is not working.

Self.Left = Screen(0).Left
Self.Height = Screen(0).Height - ??

I added below lines of code
NavigationWindow.top = Screen(0).Top + 30
NavigationWindow.Height = Screen(0).Height
NavigationWindow.Width = Screen(0).AvailableWidth
NavigationWindow.Height = Screen(0).AvailableHeight

Note : i tried with different value of the NavigationWindow.top, Still i am unable to find my result.

But my question is :
Quote:
I want the application windows full screen but it should not hide the application bar (Which is present in the Top of the application) and just hide the Task Bar ?

Thanks,
Prakash

NavigationWindow.top = Screen(0).Top + 30
NavigationWindow.Height = Screen(0).Height
NavigationWindow.Width = Screen(0).AvailableWidth
NavigationWindow.Height = Screen(0).AvailableHeight

In the above code you have set the NavigationWindow.Height twice. Which result did you expect?
And you tell me MY logic is faulty?
Where did you put this code? do you allow the window a chance to resize itself?
Also, you don't describe what results you saw so I am left to guess.
Please check your own code before critiquing the logic of others.

Hi classone,

My intention was not hurt you. I tried many things..i am not able to get the correct result.
Sorry to say i added the wrong code here.
And finally i got it is not possible to hide Task bar when application bar is open. Or we have to do like hide the both at a time.

Thanks,
Prakash
