Hello,

I need to capture the active window.
I use the WFS sendkey function.

The following works but it captures the whole screen into the clipboad (I only need the active window)
Quote:
SendKeys "{PRTSC}"

So I've tried to send both keys ALT+PRINTSC like this :
(I assume that the ALT Key is repesented by %)

Quote:
SendKeys"+%{PRTSC}"
SendKeys"%{PRTSC}"
SendKeys"{%PRTSC}"

None of them worked

Is there a way to send ALT+PRINTSC ?

I use XP

thanks
Heinz

Have you tried a more simple approach?
dim pic as new Picture(self.Width,self.Height,32)
self.DrawInto(pic.Graphics,0,0)

This would make a screenshot of the window's content, the downside would be that it only captures the content, so the window header would be missing.
Also it got a few problems with einhugur's Stylegrid Plugin as i noticed.

Thank you for your answer.
But I need to capture windows outside my own application.

So I am also experimenting with WFS "capturescreen" function (graphicHelper modul)
This captures any window using its handle/DC
That's OK.
But it does not capture the windows title and menubar...
