Hi all

I was going to try asking Christian this but in the hope it helps someone else - here it is.

I am basically extracting some frames from a movie and am using the monkeybread plugins.

Oddly enough when I use the following code

Dim f as FolderItem = GetOpenFolderItem(FileTypes1.Movie)
Dim m as Movie = f.OpenAsMovie
Dim e as new QTFrameExtractorMBS(m)

Its pretty late here is Australia so I am hoping I have missed something simple but I get a nil object on the last line.
The code is almost exactly the same as the examples given here and I am lost as to why it would be nil when I can play the movie in movie player.

The file is a .mov and I am using quicktime.

OpenAsMovie and OpenAsMovieMBS are not the same, so use the MBS version.

Greetings
Christian
