Hi

I would really appreciacate it if you could be able to convert RB classes/modules/styles... to RBX plugin files. Is it possible? If no, I will make a feedback case. It is a feature which much developers would use.

And, if this will be made, it should be possible to change te apps open event. Licence key testing ;)

You want a bunch of new classes and web styles? realstudiodevspot.com (search there for Web Styles Plugin)
Folderitem is too hard? File Bin Class

So this feature wont be included? 80 % of the plugins I use and 90% of the ones I created are RB classes...

This is one of the things which can be done once LLVM is done.
But what RS decides on whether they actually implement it is another question.

Greetings
Christian

It would be enough for me if you could drop the raw class file into the plugins golder and it would auto-include it on any project. Hope this would be possible.

Edit: Yes, I am with you on LLVM.

Make the class external and then drag it into any other project. You can drag an entire folder full of classes into the project all at once.

Or make a template project that includes all the classes already. When you create a new project, select your template to start from.

save your project as rbp and store it in the Installation folder /templates
of the Real Studio installation.

Hmm... But there is one more thing. Eg, I create a class, someone else uses this template for 2000 projects and if there is a new update for the plug-in, he has to update every single project to get it?

Not if he made it external as described above.

Quick question: I made the classes external from project A and I imported them into project B. How can I make sure the code in B will update when I change it in project A? Do I have to import them every time? A linked text document for example will update if I edit it elsewhere but not a class.

Thanks

Did you import them as externals? If so, they will update automatically.
