Extras/Plugin SDK/ directory. It's part of every version.

Be warned that while the above movie is good it doesn't work.

the directory location for the template directory is wrong as is the location specified in the RS help ( 2012r4.3 )

on my Mac it was found to be /Developer/Library/Xcode/Project Templates/Other/

this worked

the following problems with the add5 function stopped further testing :

1. REALRegisterMethod(&def); this appears to have been removed from the latest software as there is no listing for it in
the currently available help -- and it throws a compiler error

2. RealmethodDefinition also throws a compile error -- this is listed in available help but this is missing syntax header
information. Looking at other non functioning plugin examples it also appears that the required
parameters may have been changed.

In frustration I compiled all the help files I could find into one indexed PDF - but I have no way as yet to give it to every body.

From comments made on MBS site there appears to be a lot more changes being made.

I have been trying to get this information for weeks out of RS -- with no luck to date
