I started using a new version of a 3rd party plugin compiled in xcode 3.2.2
Now all my Intel 10.4 users are seeing crashes when I call the plugin method. Compiling with a previous version of the same plugin solves the problem. I want to use the new plugin as it supports Cocoa, although my app is still being compiled in Carbon right now.

The documentation for xcode 3.2.2 states "Mac OS X 10.4 SDK. This option, off by default, adds support for developing applications that target Mac OS X 10.4 APIs.".
Does this also apply to plugins? I am thinking maybe the plugin developer had this turned off by mistake.
My compiled application throws the error shown below before crashing. Note the path /Users/realbasic/..... it isn't on the target machine, nor was it on my development machine. Where did this path originate? VERY WEIRD! It works just fine on 10.5 and 10.6 targets.

I heard back from the plugin developer "I used the 10.5 SDK in compiling the plugin. I just now tried to build with the 10.4 SDK, but was told that was incompatible with GCC 4.2."

Looks like I need another solution.
