Hi,

I would like to develop plugins for the Linux Platform. My Plugins
are just to make some system calls without any interface.

I studied the SDK already and still could not find one COMPLETE
example with step by step how to for Linux.

Could someone got a simple example code with Linux function calls
already?

Thank you in addvance for sharing.

Charles

Is there a Linux compiler that will do RB plug ins? Step by step instructions are scarce for any platform, but I haven't looked at the latest plug in sdk, so what do I know.

You can use any compiler which can build a shared library (so gcc will work). But I don't believe there are any examples in the SDK of how to do that.

Sounds like a good feature request against the Plugins SDK. I thought we used to have a makefile for the Box Control plugin for gcc, but it looks like I was wrong.

The Box Control example has a makefile you can use for Linux builds. I don't think it is quite right, but it should get you pretty close.
