I use File -> Import... and then a file browser window appears. Where do I have the option to import as an external? RealStudio 2011 r4

Thanks

Import your classes, put them into a folder and rightclick ("save external") and save them.

You want a bunch of new classes and web styles? realstudiodevspot.com (search there for Web Styles Plugin)
Folderitem is too hard? File Bin Class

I hadn't done that since it was asking me to overwrite the class that had just been imported, which didn't make much sense. I was expecting some kind of "Import as External..." command.

Anyhow, for the record, it worked:
1. Make external class(es) in project A.
2. Import class(es) in project B.
3. Make external class(es) in project B and overwrite the project A classes.
4. Classes in all projects will be updated when they are edited in any project.

Thanks

I usually just drag them into project B with the modifier keys pressed. Never tried to do it via menu.

Hey, that worked and was just what I what I was looking for. On Mac OSX, it's the ctrl+command keys while dragging from the Finder.

Thanks
