The WebControl SDK says there is an event called:

SetupJavaScriptNamespace() As String

Where I should return the Namespace. However this event doesn't exist. I did set up a Constant called JavascriptNamespace with a proper value. Was this method removed? Do I not need it?

The method was removed. It's an error in the documentation.
