The uploaded file's size is not equal the original filesize, so when we call WebUploadedFile.save method to save it, the saved file is different from the original file, the file is damaged.

Please see the project file:

windows XP SP3 Chinese
RealStudio 2011r1 multilanguage

I tried your example file and the results are:
The original file is (1.679 639 bytes)
When uploaded, your example returns 1.679 639e+6)

It looks fine except the "e+6" part.

What's that?

Thanks for your reply, Akiland.

1,679,639 is same to 1.679639e+6 (in Scientific notation) , so it is no problem on your computer.

But on my computer, for example I upload a file whose filesize is 56427 bytes, the uploaded filesize is 51004, the file lost some bytes.

My browser is Chrome, 15.0.874.120 m, RealStudio 2011 r1.

What about yours?

Thanks.

I tryed uploading it to my server to see if that would make a difference but it didn't, I still get the correct resuts ;)

I'm using 2011r3 and tried with Chrome 15.0.874.120 and Firefox 10.0a2(alpha)
Both works.

Could it be a bug in r1? Try the demo of r3 and see what happens :)

Is there a workaround to upload file(s) avoid using the FileUploader control?

Thanks. :)
