Hi there...

Is there anyway to form a playlist with the quicktime plugin?
I want to play a group of midi files back to back without any gaps - is it possible and as these small midi
files make up 1 big song - is it stable enough without dropping the tie when it changes over?

Just in memory append them all to one big movie and play it. This way you have no gap.
