We are looking for a plugin that will give access to more functions from the fonts activated in the system.

We would like to be able to access glyphs from fonts via the glyphs' index.

At present you can only access glyphs via the character code of the encoding selected. I think this is possible to do via the Windows API but I'm not sure about the Mac and we would need it for both. What is returned and how it is used is open to discussion.

We would also like the option to have the glyphs outline returned as either quad splines or cubic splines depending on the format used in the font. This would be returned as a graphics object.

If you know of anything out there that does this or if you think you could create this via a plugin then we would love to hear from you.

thanks

We have a few glyph related things in DynaPDF and in our MacOSX plugin (ATS classes).
Maybe you check there?

Greetings
Christian

Thank you Christian,

We do already have your Monkeybread Plugins which are most useful, and we have looked at DynaPDF but unfortunately they just don't go far enough for our uses.
