I want my labels to look like "123", but cannot figure out how keep them from looking like "123%"

How do I use Parameter Substitution and Formatting for this?

The documentation is confusing, so please be specific.

Did you read the FAQ entry on Substitution and Formatting?
http://www.monkeybreadsoftware.net/faq- ... ting.shtml

To have %, I think you need to specify % somewhere in the label format, so if you want to remove it, change the label formats in your code.

Christian

There's the problem ... the documentation appears to read { value } as opposed to {value}

Ok.

By the way if you have a problem with ChartDirector, you can send me an email and if possible include an example project.

I'm trying to use a scroll bar on a canvas. But I'm struggling.

So, I've tried to send my chart to a buffer, but it's not drawing:

Graph is the window. canGraph is the canvas. buffer is a globel defined as picture.

Graph.Width = 850
Graph.Height = 800
Graph.canGraph.Width = 800
Graph.canGraph.Height = 706
graph.ScrollBar1.Left = 812
graph.ScrollBar1.Height = 706
Graph.buffer = new picture(800, 706, 32)
Graph.buffer = m.makeChartPicture
Graph.Show

canGraph.Open =

Sub Open
graphics.drawpicture buffer, 0, 0
end Sub

Any suggestions?

Put the drawing code in the Paint event of the Window, instead of Open.

thanks ... much better method. But, now my convas is scolling too far.

I'm using "Me.graphics.drawpicture buffer, 0, -(canGraph.Height*scrollbar1.value/100)" in the paint.

Any idears?

First, use "g" instead of "me.graphics".

Second, set the scrollbar maximum to the number of pixels you can scroll (height of content minus height of visible area). Draw using simply "-scrollbar1.value)".

Tim
