Hi all,

I'm trying to use an SSLSocket with a TLS connection and my (official) certificates.
I have trouble with the following properties:
- http://docs.realsoftware.com/index.php/ ... ficateFile
- http://docs.realsoftware.com/index.php/ ... ectionFile

What is the SSLSocket.CertificateRejectionFile ? What file type should it be?
And what's its use, eg what does it do ?

The docs say this "The certificate rejection file.", well that ain't helping me...

What should the type of file be for SSLSocket.CertificateFile? Again the docs ain't helping much...
docs say this "The file that contains the SSL certificate."

Thanks in advance for the help.

I've never used these features, but I'm guessing the CertificateFile is a PEM/text file containing your private key and certificate data in the following format:
Quote:
-----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY-----
…Certificate Data Here...
-----END RSA PRIVATE KEY-----

-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
…Certificate Data Here...
-----END CERTIFICATE-----

For example: http://www.opensource.apple.com/source/ ... a-cert.pem

Did you get any results on this? I'm trying to use SSLSocket on both sides (server/serversocket and client) and it doesn't work for me.

Regards

Gustavo

No i'm using a self created dll to do it.
This documentation about SSLSocket is basicly useless, and i'm not going to waste my precious life time.
Sorry but i asked them to update, nothing is there so i'm not waiting for it this time.

Have to say I agree with you on that note.

Does anybody know if TLS 1.1, 1.2 are supported? The LR only states TLSv1

You can connect to any TLSv1.x connection using HTTPSecureSocket

They should have only minor changes, ones you don't notice.
