Hi All

I currently have a client server application using easyTCPsocket client side and SocketServer server side..

Client side before connecting to the server I am using a combo of WMI and registry query sub routines to perform a host
audit.

I was just wondering what the best method would be for sending the data via TCPsocket.

Dump the results to CSV files and send or using array & string methods..?

Thanks for your advice

Without knowing exactly what your data looks like, maybe convert it to an XML file and send that as string?

A file and a network are both streams. Streaming to a file is redundant and not necessary, unless you have other reasons in the usage scenario - E.g. A slow or unreliable network to contend with.

Yes, reading it again, "file" is not what I meant to say. It should have read, "convert it to XML and send that as a string."
