Post subject:  Sample code for SOAP that uses sessionIds

Hello everyone, I'm trying to work on a simple SOAP client and am running into problems. I'm able to easily get this working in PHP with the soap classes and in Objective-C by building the XML requests manually; this is the route I am trying in RealStudio.

What's currently happening is that I can successfully login and parse the sessionId from the response, but my subsequent calls all fail with 'invalid session id' as mentioned I am manually building the requests and they match what IS working in Objective-C so I'm guessing there is some other socket setting or something else I am missing.

Does anyone have any idea? Perhaps sample code for a working SOAP client that uses sessionIds

Thanks!

Are you doing this is a Web App? How are you communicating to it?

Hi Bob, this is a Desktop App that would be for people on some of our teams to test one of our Web Services. Right now I am using a subclassed httpsecuresocket and the flow looks like this

button.action()
instantiate socket
create login message
set post content
post

socket.pageReceived()
if login phase parse session out session ID
set next message with session ID (also tried [probably incorrectly setting a cookie])
self.post
else
currently end
