In VB6 you use an ImageList to store images used frequently... so if I have an image of a button I use on 3 forms... you store in image list and access it when you open a form....

is there something similar in RB? or do you just add the image to the project? I read some posts about adding images to the project...

I think the main idea is instead of having 5 copies of the same image compiled into a program... you keep just one copy somewhere and then reference that one and copy it as needed at runtime.

Suggestions appreciated.

Just add it to the project and reference it when you need it.

If I select Project tab... and select Project menu... Add... there is not an option to add an image.

I do see folders one for each form... each with images in them.

Should I just create a global folder and try to drag the images to that?

Tips appreciated.

That's what I do. The other approach is to use the File->Import command.
