You probably can't sign it properly on anything BUT OS X for release through the App Store

Some won't care about that / some will

eyeOS is a cloud based operating system. Apps can be made for apple devices under eyeOS. The Compiler this thread is talking about is a multiplatform RAD dev for iOS devices without having to use XCode or an object-c compiler. Basically I rewrote an interpreter for apple devices and Pre-compiled stubs that can generate native apple iOS applications. The stubs are just like the framework used by RS, but were generated in object-c and when compiled in the software, attach the necessary stubs and code to "interpret" into the native iOS installable IPA file :-) eyeOS plays no part in this. eyeOS can be used to generate wevapps(requiring net connection) but the dev studio discussed here is solely native app creation... Run solely from the device. That help?

But when will you release this RAD dev for iOS?

@Yogi In next few days I'll compile a copy for you to test if you'd like. It's functional already, just adding on to what's existing :-) What's your OS?

As this sounds very interesting, I am in the row.
I have Win 7 64Bit running.

I think alot of people would be happy to code for iOS and not bound to Objektive C.
I know I know there are other IDE/languages you can develop, but nothing is as RB.

At least no other for an old fart like me :D
Even if it runs on JB only, whats my phone is anyway.

I will be more then happy to try my hands on it.

I have multiple OSs. I use XP at office and Win7 Home Premium at Home.

I have managed to install Mac OS X Lion in Virtual Box but it is run quite slow.

I also have iPhone 3S.

signing is the easy part...can do that without software..just need keychain and text editor...lol..or use textoutputstream ;-p can even compile without a keychain for jb devices :-D

OSX Lion doesn't really like PICT format images any more.
Your project has an image called compile-started.pct
Open that in an image editor which can still understand PCT, and save it as a JPG or PNG file.
Delete the original from your project, and drag in the new version

You know how to sign iphone apps? with this information, you could create an installous for unjailbreaked iphones...

Only problem is that presigned apps cannot be resigned... I'm sure it could be done but would have to create a proxy because jb iOS devices bypass the apple killswitch where non jb devices don't. Apple compares the app signature (encrypted) with the keychains that have been released to developers for a match. If you wanna learn how signing works.. Google the source for ldid (signing console for apps).

----------------------
Still can't fix the pct issue.. Have resaved as png and bmp.. Last resort.. Removing images or will work on an older version of rbasic

You probably haven't, I'm guessing
Open the original file.
create a new file of the same size.
Select all from the old image
Paste into the new.
Save as jpeg or png.

Almost certainly you have been saving a PCT with just a different extension.
