I am using RB2005r3 and upto now no version on windows has allowed multiple debugging sessions on the same pc. Is this also a feature request or am i doing something wrong. I have a server and client application and I can only debug one at a time (or use multiple machines).

Are you getting an error message, because I'm able to debug multiple projects at the same time on Windows.

A few things to check:

1) The compilation of app #1 must be finished before compiling app #2
2) The names and paths of the applications must not conflict (because otherwise you can't overwrite the already running application with your new one).

My bad!

I think this was an issue with previous versions of RealBasic and I had just given up on it.. It is working fine now..

I think with 2005r1 or similar it would compile the second app and just freeze there without going into debug mode.

Anyway it works fine now with 2005r3.

Thanks a lot.

Correct, that's because r3 fixed a lot of major issues with IPCSockets on Windows. So a lot of things got better, like the debugger, automatically. :-)
