I need to use a fairly small table to copy records to and then recreate the original table. How do I specify that the table is to be in memory only and not actually written to disc.

thanks

you do do it on a table by table basis.
it's easy to create an in memory real sql database - just dont assign a folder item to it or try & create a folder item for it.
This will create a db (named db) as an in memory database to which you can add tables etc.

Quote:
dim db as new realsqldatabase
if db.connect()

end if

You might want to make the db object a property of the form so that you can use it in multiple methods. That's what I've done without passing parameters around.
