Post subject:  fill colors, backgrounds and visibility question

I need some help with backgrounds and visibility. I have placed various objects just as rectangle, placards, canvases with a checkbox on them. I don't want the window fill color to show as the background of the checkbox, instead, I want the background (fill color) of the rectangle to be the background of the text for the checkbox.

I thought I would just not include text with the checkbox and put a label next to it with the text I want. Except it's hard to get the remaining border of the checkbox to not show any of the window fill color.

Is there another way to do this?

We, as outsiders can't see the picture on your Desktop.
You have to put your image on a public server (Dropbox, Flickr, etc.) and replace the link between [/img] and [/img] with the link to the picture on the public server.

Yes, build the application as Cocoa. Cocoa does not have this problem. On the menus go to:

Project >> Build Settings... and the select Cocoa (Beta)

Ive tried it and it works.
