Can anyone tell me why my 2-row, 2-column listbox scrolls the contents up one row when the bottom row is clicked?

I'm using this in the cellclick event:

Me.CellType(row, column) = Listbox.TypeEditableTextField
Me.EditCell(row, column)

I think you need to return true after that code. Otherwise, additional processing occurs by the listbox itself, which you probably don't want.

Thanks for the tip ... unfortunately, it didn't help. I've pretty much scoured the Reference and spent more time on it than I should have so I guess, unless someone can help, I'll just dump the listbox and create a couple textareas.

Just curious why you're using EditCell instead of just setting the cells to editable and letting the listbox initiate the edit for you. You'll get a CellGotFocus event to kick everything off.

There's a very simple answer to that question: I didn't consider it. That all changed about 5 seconds ago. I'm gonna give the girl a whirl, so to speak.

Thanks again. The board here is a huge help to novices like me.

Hm. One question. How do you make the listbox editable outside of using EditCell?

In the listbox Open event, set the ColumnType for each column to Listbox.TypeEditable.

Got it. I was looking for a property. Thx again.
