Besides the book that i don't know if it's up to date at all.

Is there any ?

Real Studio is really different than any of the languages/tools i have tried/used so far, such as:
-Python, C++, C#, Java(Hate it), Perl, Ruby, Pure Basic, Gamer Maker(Tool with some cool OOP of it's own).

(It is hard for me to understanding so much required OOPness in RS, in order to do anything, in english which is not my primary language, and im 17).

Where would you like to start? I can generate tutorials and should be anyway ... You may want to join realstudiodevspot.com and I will send you direct links to the new developer library as well so that you can have a few hundred demos and source to look through...all searchable by keywords :-) if you are familiar with any BASIC syntax... It works exactly the same..the 'wording'/code just changes slightly... If you understand JavaScript, c/c++, or have used python, lua, or .net/VB then you already know how classes, functions, properties (global, private), and libraries work (only needed for system specific APIs). I'll forward the link to the new library in about 30 minutes...just finishing up the next release...but the current is available at RSDS and will auto update when the new release is issued. (I'd personally wait for the new release)

Its explains enough that you can be proficient with it and what it doesn't explain you'll be better equipped to ask questions about or research in the language reference &/or users guides.

My book I believe does a reasonable job of explaining OOP in REALbasic to someone who is new to OOP.

It's not perfect, and it hasn't been updated in a few years. But the OOP features in REALbasic don't change much, so it will be fine as is.

When the new IDE comes out (is it out? I haven't checked in a while. :-) ) I plan to update the book to match. But other than changing some of the screenshots and a few of the instructions, the only (reasonably minor) change in the content I would need is to accommodate interface inheritance. This is a very nice feature, to be sure, but you'll be able to understand it just fine if you can understand the rest of the book.

I plan on making the new version free for previous purchasers. But I might put up the price a little at that point. So you've nothing to lose by buying it now. :-)

Honestly, I kind of wish REAL would just buy the book from me and include it with RB. I think it's something that every RB purchaser should have. If only because it fixes some gaping holes, one of which borders on an outright error, in the RB documentation (so you don't need to buy the book to know what that is: the RB documentation virtually just says, and can be most straightforwardly read as implying, that Events are for doing user interface code and nothing else, and this is entirely wrong).

It's pretty straightforward to pay through a credit card using Google Wallet. Worth setting up.

This is the only straightforward way I have for payment.

I highly recommend too gisborne's book. It a joy to read. RS2012 include some OOP design patterns too.

I've recommended Guyren's book a few times but I'd definitely be following Norman's advice and following the Curriculum first, otherwise it will be a hard slog.

I know it's going way back now and a lot of people would probably disagree but in my opinion it's still worth checking Matt Neuburg's book, specifically chapters 3 and 4 of the second revision of the book. It's absolutely ancient in terms of Real Studio/REALbasic but if you've done the above, you might still gain some understanding from it in terms of OOP.

:)

Stick with it...

Likewise I myself only stumbled upon RB a couple of months ago. Yes there is a learning curve but once you get your head around things RB is "BRILLIANT"

Make sure that you download Matthew A. Combatti's RB developer library it really is an awesome tool. The guy really has gone out of his way.
