does anyone know of a FAST way to color a Figureshape (or GROUP2D) with a Gradient color?

The only way I have come up with is to draw the figure shape on a PICTURE object with a fixed solid color, and then do a Gradient Fill on there (I have the code to do that)... and then cut the image and paste it on to my main canvas..

I have not implemented that (yet), but it seems kinda slow (relatively speaking)

I have the ability to do the one on the left... I need the one on the right (this and 250 other shapes), with any combo of colors I choose

You could try this:

-Create the picture that will hold the gradient

-Fill the mask of that picture to White

-Draw the Object2D using Black color to the mask.

You should then get a picture that holds the shape of your Object2D with a gradient fill.
