So Norman please tell me "What you can deliver over the next 12 months please?" - Give me something that I can hold your word to.

I can't begin to stress how important a stable Cocoa release is. But some how that doesn't count?

Sorry maybe i am missing the point here with RS/Xojo - "Cross Platform" getting fed up with hearing about Cocoa

I don't think you had to be Nostradamus to see that one coming. :)

Well, I tried Xamarin... Not good.
After adding a .cs file and referencing another project in the same solution, I got a "The build was aborted because <file> could not be saved." error even though I just saved all files. What a PITA.

So, yeah, I'm sticking with Xojo; though there HAS to be a better way to design UI's inside TabControls. The way the controls snap to the edges of the TabControl is a nightmare. Please have the TabControls be like the TabControls in Visual Studio. The TB's in VS have a panel in them, which means you can't place a control on the tabs themselves. Would also love to see some modern UI elements in Xojo in the future. (Panels, etc)

For now, the best way to design UI's inside TabControls is via code.

We frequently use a container control then place that inside the tab (or page for page panels)

read http://www.realsoftwareblog.com/

Those are the things that are already in the pipeline that we intend to deliver in the time frames stated

My word really doesn't matter.

Quite honestly except for support for Metro there's nothing nearly as pressing on Linux or Windows.
The things that are - 64 bit and being able to target new processors - are already in the pipeline.

Is there something else that you think is pressing on those platforms ?

IF you have access to them (and this IS something that will change in Xojo) you just add one to your project & design it much like a window

Certain editions of Real Studio did not have access to them & everyone will have access to everything when designing in Xojo

What edition / license type do you have ?
